MEET EMILY VENCEL

Emily is a Piano Instructor at Musicville. She has been playing and performing piano since the young age of 4. Growing up in Arkansas with a musical family, she participated and volunteered in multiple piano festivals and competitions, recitals, and music camps. After moving to Nashville in 2018, she attended a music conservatory, training under Juilliard taught teachers and professionals. There, she was taught to increase her skills in classical piano and also took intensive classes in songwriting, musical theory, and stage performance coaching. Alongside playing independently, Emily enjoys accompanying and singing with her sisters who also play piano and other instruments.

Emily has taught piano to young children since high school. She enjoys seeing the joy that lights up their faces when they learn to play beautiful music on the keyboard. “There’s nothing better than witnessing that smile of happiness and pride on a student’s face when they finish learning a song that means a lot to them. Music is healing for children…for everyone. It encourages imagination, confidence, and mental growth.”

She is most passionate about making piano something that is fun, encouraging, and character building. Music should never be high-pressure or stressful, but builds confidence and brings joy to yourself and others!
