Designed by a Japanese engineer in the late 1970s, this overdrive pedal is undeniably perfect, having been adopted by countless artists and sound sources, and imprinting its sound into our hearts and souls. . The Edge, Trey Anastasio, Buddy Guy, Kark Hammett, John Mayer, SRV, Carlos Santana, and players of all genres rely on this iconic green housing pedal.
Possibly the most produced and sold pedal in the history of guitar pedals, The Bonsai is a tribute to one of the greatest pedals ever made .
Following in the footsteps of the 2015 Muffuletta, the Bonsai lets you switch between nine classic, rare and hard-to-find vintage tube screamer variations with a simple rotary switch. By considering numerous versions, variations, and replicas during the Bonsai manufacturing process, we have delved deeper into the history of this circuit, archaeologically, and thoroughly reproduced the nuances of each pedal. One of the biggest difficulties for Bonsai was that these pedals were made decades ago, and the internal parts deviated from the original values, allowing for drift of the parts. That was it. Using the Audio Precision Analyzer and a variety of other methods, we've perfectly recreated every aspect of the unit's sound and feel in a single box of nine units.
