Continue ShoppingMusicville tuition operates like a monthly membership (similar to a gym or dance studio). Tuition is a flat monthly rate that remains the same each month, regardless of the number of weeks in that month.
Annual tuition is based on approximately 45 lessons per year, which are evenly distributed across 12 monthly payments. This structure provides predictable billing and avoids higher charges in months with five weeks. Holidays and scheduled studio breaks are already factored into the annual tuition rate.
*For 2026, Monday students will receive additional lesson credits for Monday-only holidays when the studio is closed (e.g., Memorial Day).
$165 per month for a 30-minute weekly lesson (in studio or online)
$330 per month for a 1-hour weekly lesson (in studio or online)
Upon enrollment for private music lessons, a $50 registration fee is required to secure the student's lesson date, time, and instructor. The first month's tuition payment must be made before the student's first lesson. It's important to note that registration fees are non-refundable following enrollment.
The initial payment is due at registration/enrollment. If the first lesson occurs after the first week of the month, the first payment will be prorated.
Musicville requires automatic monthly tuition payments, online through our Lesson portal via a stored credit/debit card on the Parent account.
A 10% discount is offered for families that enroll in three 30-minute lessons. The first two half-hour lessons are charged at the full rate. The third half-hour lesson is discounted.
Example:
1st 30 Min Lesson = $165
2nd 30 Min Lesson = $165
3rd 30 Min Lesson = $148.50
A $15 late fee will apply to accounts with tuition payments overdue by 7 days.
If you need to cancel or reschedule, please provide at least 24 hours notice. We offer one make up per month. All make-up lesson credits not used within 30 days will expire.
Limited make-up slots vary by instructor. We encourage students to attend weekly lessons in-studio or online via Zoom.
To schedule your make-up lesson, please contact us at lessons@musicville.com or call/text (615) 614-3411 and leave a message
If a student cancels a lesson with at least 24 hour's notice, they can receive up to one make-up credit per lesson type each month. These credits can be utilized to easily self-schedule make-up lessons directly through the Musicville Music Portal.
Please review our Studio Policies here or contact us at lessons@musicville.com if you have questions.
Students who do not show up for their scheduled lesson or are more than 15 minutes late will be considered no shows and no makeup will be issued. However, if the teacher is still here of course you can finish up the rest of the lesson.
Students who do not attend for 4 consecutive weeks will be automatically removed from the schedule, resulting in the forfeiture of their lesson date, time, and instructor. No refunds or account credits will be provided in such cases. Before taking this action, Musicville will make every effort to contact the parent/guardian to discuss the possibility of a schedule change.
When a student's instructor is unavailable, a handpicked substitute will step in for the lesson. You'll be informed of the substitute instructor beforehand. If no substitute is available, we'll reach out to reschedule via email and/or phone, overriding the monthly make-up policy for student-initiated cancellations.
Musicville does not adhere to school system inclement weather policies. Should Musicville studios close due to weather, all regularly scheduled lessons will take place online (via Zoom). We do not offer make-up lessons, refunds, or credits for studio closures due to weather. Check our website, social media, or email for updates on changes/cancellations.
To stop music lessons (cancel enrollment) students/parents must submit a written request to lessons@musicville.com by the 15th of the month before the next billing cycle, otherwise will be charged tuition for the following month (i.e. to end your membership by January 1st, all cancellation requests must be turned in by December 15th). Withdrawal requests made after the 15th will incur charges for the following month without exception.
If your family/student needs a break from lessons (NOT quit/or for summer vacation) but wants to ensure they keep their same-day, time and instructor, Lesson Holds are an excellent choice.
