If you need to cancel or reschedule, please provide at least 2 hours notice. We offer one make up per month. All make-up lessons not used within 30 days will expire.
Limited make-up slots vary by mentor. We encourage students to attend weekly lessons in-studio or online via Zoom.
If a student cancels a lesson with at least 2 hour's notice, they can receive up to one make-up credit per lesson type each month. These credits can be utilized to easily self-schedule make-up lessons directly through the Musicville Music Portal.
Students who do not show up for their scheduled lesson or are more than 15 minutes late will be considered no shows and no makeup will be issued. However, if the teacher is still here of course you can finish up the rest of the lesson.
Students who do not attend for 4 consecutive weeks will be automatically removed from the schedule, resulting in the forfeiture of their lesson date, time, and instructor. No refunds or account credits will be provided in such cases. Before taking this action, Musicville will make every effort to contact the parent/guardian to discuss the possibility of a schedule change.
When a student's instructor is unavailable, a handpicked substitute will step in for the lesson. You'll be informed of the substitute instructor beforehand. If no substitute is available, we'll reach out to reschedule via email and/or phone, overriding the monthly make-up policy for student-initiated cancellations.
Musicville does not adhere to school system inclement weather policies. Should Musicville close due to weather, all regularly scheduled lessons will take place online (via Zoom). We do not offer make-up lessons, refunds, or credits for studio closures due to weather. Check our website, social media, or email for updates on changes/cancellations.
If your family/student needs a break from lessons (NOT quit/or for summer vacation) but wants to ensure they keep their same-day, time and instructor, Lesson Holds are an excellent choice.

Here’s how a Music Lesson Hold works:
To cancel your enrollment in music lessons students must submit a written request to firstname.lastname@example.org before the 15th of the current month, otherwise will be charged tuition for the following month (i.e. to end your membership by January 1st, all cancellation requests must be turned in by December 15).
