In our music recording and production lessons, students receive focused, one-on-one instruction from experienced producers and engineers. We help students of all levels build strong technical skills, musical understanding, and confidence while developing their own sound in a fun, supportive environment. Lessons are tailored to each student’s goals and experience—whether they’re learning basic recording techniques, mixing their first song, or producing professional-quality tracks.
In beginner production lessons, students typically learn the fundamentals of music recording and production, including:
1. Digital Audio Workstations (DAWs) – Learning to record, edit, and arrange music using Logic Pro, Ableton Live, and Pro Tools
2. Recording Techniques – Microphone placement, signal flow, and capturing vocals and instruments
3. Mixing Basics – Introduction to EQ, compression, reverb, delay, and other effects
4. Sound Design & Synthesis – Creating unique sounds with virtual instruments and synthesizers
5. Music Theory for Producers – Applying chords, scales, and rhythm to production
6. Songwriting & Arrangement – Structuring songs, layering tracks, and developing arrangements
7. Editing & Comping – Refining performances, correcting timing and pitch, and organizing tracks
8. Mastering Basics – Preparing tracks for release with loudness, balance, and clarity
9. Collaboration & Workflow – Working with other artists, producers, and engineers efficiently
10. Studio Setup & Maintenance – Understanding gear, signal flow, and proper care of recording equipment
