About Our Founders

Get to know Musicville, founded by husband and wife team David and Amber Gill. We offer a great selection of boutique and vintage gear, music lessons, and unrivaled studio space for both aspiring musicians and pros to thrive, dream, and reach their musical greatness.

David is a professional musician who grew up in the music retail industry. After years in corporate America David felt called to join "the family business." The Gill family has been serving local music communities for over 40 years. “I've learned everything I know about music from my dad, who has been a successful music store owner since 1979. I’m passionate about supporting working musicians and giving back to local schools through our non-profit, Musicville Cares.”

Amber is a professional singer and has been teaching voice for over 25 years. It has been her life's mission to support students in their music education. “I have seen first hand the benefit that music education provides in student’s lives from years of teaching. Whether they are studying music for their personal or professional goals, every student will gain skills and confidence that can be utilized for a lifetime!"

Our goal is for our small music shop to make a big difference in the lives of its students and customers. We look forward to serving you and helping you in your musical journey!
