MEET CHASE URE

Chase Ure is a classically trained multi-instrumentalist, music producer, and singer-songwriter with more than 16 years of performance experience. Versatile and encouraging, he teaches guitar, bass, voice, music production, and songwriting at Musicville, working with students across rock, pop, country, jazz, and classical styles.

Chase’s love for music began at age seven while listening to classic rock with his parents. After Guitar Hero inspired him to pick up the real instrument, he began learning guitar alongside his father at age nine. Within a year, Chase was performing with his first rock band at charity events and festivals throughout the Tampa Bay area—including a benefit concert that raised more than $7,000 for a neighbor battling cancer.

He continued developing his musicianship at performing arts schools, studying classical and jazz guitar, voice, music theory, and ensemble performance. Chase later attended the University of Florida, where he studied under Dr. Silviu Ciulei and earned a Bachelor of Music in Classical Guitar Performance.

Chase also brings professional experience in music production and audio engineering. As an engineer at Heartwood Soundstage in Gainesville, he supported touring artists including The SteelDrivers and Charles Wesley Godwin. He has also worked with independent artists as a producer, helping transform song ideas into polished recordings through arranging, recording, and mixing.

Since moving to Nashville, Chase has continued writing and recording original music, performing with other artists, and serving as a worship leader at Westwood Baptist Church.

As a teacher, Chase creates an encouraging environment where students can build strong musical skills while exploring the music they genuinely love. Whether a student wants to play their favorite songs, write and record original music, perform confidently, or pursue music professionally, Chase helps them grow at their own pace while developing creativity, confidence, and a lifelong love of music.
