Matt Keegan is a professional drummer and percussionist with nearly 20 years of playing experience and 10 years of teaching experience. He’s also an audio engineer and author.
Hailing from The Big Easy, Matt has an extensive education, achieving both a Bachelor in Music from the University of New Orleans and Master of Music in Percussion Performance from Southern Miss. He’s also studied under renowned musicians and educators Marty Hurley, John Wooton, Tony Miceli, Rick Sebastian.

He taught me how to be a percussionist in addition to discipline, integrity, and how to improve at just about anything in life. I teach to carry on his legacy as best I can. I enjoy sharing his and my insight with the coming generations of musicians.”
